Trillian should be a member of the Software Hall of Fame. I don't know how I got by without it for so long. Not only does it encapsulate 4 different IM clients for me, but it also handles all of my RSS feeds via its News plugin. I liked it so much that I happily forked over hard-earned cash money for it. You should do the same right now.
